Research Interests:

I am a member of the ChemCam team working on MSL’s Curiosity rover on Mars. My research involves developing a phosphorus calibration for ChemCam LIBS to help us better understand what geochemical processes led to phosphorus enrichments on Mars. This involves LIBS analyses with the ChemCam testbeds at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) and at the Institut de Recherche en Astrophysique et Planétologie (IRAP) in Toulouse, France. My other research interests include planetary geomorphology, geochemistry, icy satellites, and planetary evolution

Advisors: Dr. Louis Scuderi and Pierre-Yves Meslin (MSL Curiosity rover’s ChemCam team, IRAP)
