Research Interests:
My current research focuses on evolutionary succession after the K-Pg extinction and how biosphere and the geosphere may feedback on each other to set a speed limit for evolutionary recovery after major perturbations. I’m broadly interested in paleoecology and evolution, and specifically how animals have responded to and influenced biogeochemical changes in their environments.
