Research Interests:
My research focuses on biogeography and paleoecology of fossil marine invertebrates in deep time. I am currently researching the biological and environmental relationships of the late Cretaceous (Campanian-Maastrichtian) Western Interior Seaway, using large fossil datasets across the western US. I am primarily interested in understanding how broad-scale biotic associations such as functional diversity, paleobiogeography, and niche occupation are related to changes in environmental conditions and habitats across deep time.
