My current research focuses on understanding how aeolian dust transport from the abandoned Jackpile uranium mine, located in Pueblo of Laguna, New Mexico, could act as a potential exposure pathway to heavy metals and uranium when inhaled by the community. My interests include geochemistry, communicating science, environmental justice, and environmental contamination impacting indigenous populations.
