Research and Academic Interests:

Research emphasis is on volcanology and geothermal systems in US and abroad. Have worked on nearly 40 geothermal systems and 20 active volcanoes performing: exploration, drilling, geologic mapping, water and gas geochemistry, petrology, dating and program management.

Recent Research & Collaborations:

Geoscience studies in the Valles caldera, New Mexico; geothermal studies in Mexico and southwest USA.

Collaborate with Fawcett, Fischer, Geissman, Smith and Wawrzyniec (UNM), Dunbar, Kyle, McIntosh and Timmons (NM Tech) and Gonzales (Fort Lewis College), Siebe (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico), Allen (US Geological Survey), Parmenter (Valles Caldera National Preserve), Chipera, Gardner, Heikoop, Reneau and WoldeGabriel (Los Alamos National Lab).
